If you make recovery CDs when you first get a new computer, can you delete all the info on the D drive?

I would like to have extra space on my hard drive, and the D drive contains all the recovery data which I have backed up on CDs.

Yes. But not a good idea. The operating system defaults to C: The D: drive is rarely used. Its insurance, and its free.

  3. Sure, but it's totally NOT recommended, CDs are fragile 70% more than hard drives no matter how careful you are
