can doing a system recovery to your computer multiple times damage it?

I've done a system recovery to my computer about 5 times in the last 2 weeks. And ever since then my internet has been running either really slowly or won't run at all. could that be the reason why?

Why are you doing that??!!!!! There are so many free programs out there to get rid of malware, viruses, and the like. Why do you instantly restore?? Also why don't you try and google why your pc is running slow? There are millions of answers out there. I"m at a loss.
